At our practice we believe it is of the utmost importance that you know what to expect. In order to give you more insight into our working method, we ask you to carefully read the text below. These are the ‘house rules’ of our practice. Most house rules speak for themselves. However, new and current patients can find useful information in this.
House Rules
In our practice we only work by appointment and without (open) consultation hours. Appointments can only be made/cancelled by telephone or at the desk.
When you call in the morning between 9:00 and 10:30 with pain/an emergency, we try to help you as much as possible the same day. If you call later in the day, we will do our best to help you, but unfortunately, we can’t guarantee this.
If you arrive late at an appointment, you run the risk of the treatment not being entirely completed as planned, or that it will be cancelled due to a lack of time.
If you are unable to show up for an appointment, you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance by telephone. If you cancel an appointment late or not at all, the time reserved for you will be charged. Our diaries are divided into blocks of 5 minutes and we have a penalty policy of € 5 per 5 minutes, a minimum of € 15 and a maximum of € 75.
In case of repeated no-show or late cancellation of an appointment, we reserve the right to deregister you as a patient from our practice.
Every day we send an appointment reminder by text message to our patients for appointments scheduled the following day. For long treatments, you will be reminded again by telephone three days in advance. This is a free extra service that we provide to our patients from which no rights can be derived. In case you do not receive a reminder from us, this does NOT mean that your appointment will not take place.
Payment for the treatments is made through factoring company Uwnota.nl. Their telephone number is: 0900-04006333 (€ 0,20 per call). Further information about payment terms can be obtained from our staff at the reception desk. Payment of missed appointments takes place outside this factoring company and you must pay cash or by card at our desk.
You are always responsible for ensuring that your details are passed on to us in the event of any changes (e.g. a change of health insurer, address or telephone number). You are also requested to inform us of any changes in your health and medication. You can inform us of this change by letter, email or at our practice.
For extensive treatments, you will receive an advance estimate. Only when a patient has agreed to the estimate provided, the patient will be treated in our practice. Always read the estimate carefully!
It is your responsibility to take care of your property. We are not liable for damage, theft or loss of your property. You are advised not to leave your property unattended.
Smoking in the practice or on the driveway/entrance to the practice is not allowed.
In our practice, security cameras are available in public areas for the safety of both patients and our staff. In the event of theft, destruction, verbal and non-verbal aggression, we reserve the right to deregister you as a patient. We will always report theft, destruction and other serious undesirable behaviour to the police.
